ICU Liberation
Delirium strikes up to 50–80% of mechanically ventilated patients, driving longer ICU stays, higher mortality, and lasting cognitive impairment, PTSD, and depression. This course teaches critical care nurses how to recognize it early and act on it — using the ABCDEF bundle, CAM-ICU, awakening and breathing trials, and progressive mobility.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
