CNA Course - De-Escalation Techniques
This course will teach the CNA De-Escalation techniques to utilize to effectively intervene when patients are agitated or angry. They will learn both verbal and nonverbal signs of an angry patient and how to gauge the patient in regard to the assault cycle. Safety steps and recognition of the need to report concerns to the licensed staff will also be discussed.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
