Rapid Response Team (RRT)
This course will focus on the three components of Rapid Response, the goals of rapid response, potential benefits of an RRT and the clinical criteria for calling a rapid response. This module takes a detailed look at bradycardia, tachycardia, hypotension, symptomatic bradypnea, tachypena, hemorrhage, altered mental status, seizures and new onset chest pain in relation to the need for RRT.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
