CNA Course - Guide to Emotional and Spiritual Needs
This 1 hour class will present an overview to the CNA on how to appropriately support the patient's emotional and spiritual needs. The student will explore how to recognize emotional distress and how to assess emotional needs. Techniques for patient support will be presented to increase the capacity for the CNA to offer comfort to patients through the use of spirituality.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
