CNA Course - Kidney Dysfunction
This class will review the anatomy and physiology of the kidney. The course will discuss common kidney problems such as infection, stones, polycystic disease, cancer, nephrotic syndrome, chronic kidney disease and end stage renal disease. The class will also discuss expected treatments including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, kidney transplant and renal diet.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
