CNA Course - Fatigue Associated with Alarms & Alerts
This 1-hour class will review alarms and alerts and their effect on nurses and patients. The class will discuss call lights, Heart Rate alarms, Bed Alarms, IV pump alarms, and Ventilator Alarms. The class will look at the cumulative affect of alarms and alerts and how alarm fatigue can potentially decrease patient safety.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
