Basic Precepting Concepts - (Non-Nursing)
This program is not intended for RNs/LVNs and includes the essentials needed to be a good preceptor including setting goals with the preceptee, feedback techniques and evaluation methods. In addition the course goes over principles of adult learning, techniques for building trust, and critical thinking techniques. No contact hours are given for this course.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
