ACLS Renewal In-person Skills Testing Pt.2
This course requires completion of the ACLS Renewal Online Course Part 1 offered through Flex Ed. Participants are required to have their 2015 AHA ACLS Provider manual at the time of their skills testing session.
The AHA requires the student to achieve a score of 70% or higher on the online ACLS Pre-course Self-Assessment. The pre-test must indicate the student's full name and a passing score of 70% or greater (altered documents will NOT be accepted). If you show up to the skills testing without your printed ACLS Pre-course Assessment you will not be admitted into the class.
During the skills session the participant is required to participate in BLS and ACLS practice and skills testing concepts for the adult. To help reduce the spread of COVID, all participants must practice social distancing of 6 or more feet during the course as well as wear a facial covering throughout the course.
Upon completion of Parts 1 and 2 of the ACLS Renewal Course, and payment of all course related fees, the participate will receive an AHA course completion card in the form of an eCard. The eCard will be sent to the participants provided email address. Please note, you must open the email and follow the outlined steps to claim your eCard.
Contact Hours- Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 8593, for 8.0 contact hours. Course approved for LVNs through the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians, Provider Number V-10835, for 8.0 contact hours. Provider approved by the Nevada Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number NV000556, for 8.0 contact hours. EMS Providers. Approved for 8.0 hours of continuing education CA EMS 62-2010 through ICEMA.
