CNA Course - Sepsis Identification and Care
No RN or LVN credit available.
This 2-hour class will review Sepsis incidence, causes and early identification (SIRS and qSOFA Tools), care and prevention. The class will talk about challenges meeting the core measure and how to meet the challenge. The class will talk about role of the CNA in collecting data accurately and timely reporting of abnormal data and observations. Lastly, the class will talk about how to support the team during sepsis care.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
