ED Triage: Emergency Severity Index, Version 4
This course for emergency department personnel reviews the Emergency Severity Index, Version 4 Algorithms as published through the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
This manual covers all details of the Emergency Severity Index (ESI)—a five-level emergency department triage algorithm that provides
clinically relevant stratification of patients into five groups from 1 (most urgent) to 5 (least urgent) on the basis of acuity and resource needs.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
Please note processing of certificates may take up to two weeks.
