Chemotherapy and Biotherapy - ONS
Based upon the Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice (Third Edition), this course offers the didactic information nurses need to safely administer chemotherapy and biotherapy. The contact hours earned from this educational opportunity (13.5 hours provided through ONS), qualify for initial oncology nursing certification and renewal via ONC-PRO. The course is presented by oncology nurse experts identified as ONS Chemotherapy Trainers.
The listed course material fee includes the mandatory book, 13.5 contact hours (provided through the ONS), and the Official ONS Chemotherapy provider card which is valid for 2 years. To successfully complete the course, the student must successfully complete an exam in class, and then complete an online evaluation after the course. Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
