CNA Course - Attitudes & Belief Systems Impacting Healthcare Acceptance
This course will focus on the cultural competence and how the C.N.A. can assist the patient to improve health literacy and disease knowledge. The course will give insight into determining the patient’s level of reception for healthcare services and how to work within that framework while aiming to improve acceptance. The course will also look at age related differences in relation to the patient’s perception of healthcare.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
