Flex Ed AHA TC Update- BLS
This course is designated for AHA Instructors who are aligned with Flex Ed's AHA Training Center. During this course, the new AHA guidelines pertaining to this discipline will be discussed. Instructors participating in the course are required to have their instructor and student course materials as well have completed the online AHA instructor update found at https://elearning.heart.org/
Upon completion of the course, the instructor will need to successfully demonstrate proficiency in the student provider skills as well as successfully pass the student-written exam with a passing score of 90% or higher.
Instructors who do not complete this update will not be permitted to teach AHA courses under Flex Ed's AHA Training Center and will not be eligible for renewal of AHA instructor status.
Upon completion of the instructor update, the instructor may choose to renew their instructor status and be issued a new instructor card. The cost of the new card is $10.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
