Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Introduction & Review
The purpose of this 8 hour class is to serve as a review of key competencies required for the safe administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy. It may also serve as an introduction to the medical surgical nurse to medical therapies for cancer. This class is not intended to replace more comprehensive courses such as the ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course which prepare nurses to become chemotherapy competent. The class utilizes didactic, discussion and case study methodologies to obtain the stated objectives.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
Please note processing of certificates may take up to two weeks.
