Inpatient OB Nursing Certification Prep Course
This 2-day review course will provide the experienced RN with a comprehensive and intense review in preparation for the NCC Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification Exam. This course will focus on maternal factors affecting the fetus and newborn, fetal assessment, labor and delivery, obstetric complications, postpartum and newborn review, and professional issues encountered by the perinatal nurse. NCC eligibility for the examination is a minimum of two years’ experience and 2000 hours of clinical experience in perinatal nursing. 2000 hours is equivalent to at least a 0.5 FTE position for two years.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course. Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
