Leadership - Just Culture-Culture of Safety
This 4 hour course will review the key elements of a JUST CULTURE. An organization's culture is what drives behavior, which in turn drives outcomes. In other words, if the organization as a whole embraces a culture encouraging adverse event reporting without punitive consequences, while at the same time requiring the assumption of responsibility when an adverse action occurs, the end result is what is known as a JUST CULTURE. This course reviews the charge nurse's role in creating this environment.
