ABG - Arterial Blood Gas Interpretation
This course will discuss why arterial blood gases (ABG) are used as a diagnostic tool. The course will introduce indications, contradictions and methods so that accurate results are obtained. In addition this course will provide a step by step approach for blood gas analysis, and recognition of abnormalities. Lastly, the course will incorporate patient scenarios to practice applying knowledge in a clinical situation.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
Please note processing of certificates may take up to two weeks.
