Dysrhythmia for Monitor Techs 3 Weeks

This course offers a Certificate of Completion. Continuing education units are only available to EMTs through ICEMA after attendance of all sessions and successful completion of the final exam. No RN, LVN, or CNA continuing education credit is available.

This program is recommended for monitor technicians and other non-licensed personnel working in monitored areas. Analysis of cardiac rhythm strips will be taught. This class is taught in 3 weekly sessions of 8 hours per week totaling 24 hours of class time, and homework and self-study is necessary.

The Introduction to Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmias, 4th Edition, textbook will be utilized during this course. An RCAT Tool (used for measuring ECG intervals) is also required during the class and for outside homework. The cost of the textbook and any materials is included in the course fee listed as shown. If you bring the current textbook or materials with you, to the first day of class, you will receive a credit.


Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.

Please note processing of certificates may take up to two weeks.
