IV Therapy for Nevada LPN's
IV Therapy for Nevada LPNs is a continuing education course designed to meet the Nevada State Board of Nursing requirements for LPN IV education. This class is approved for continuing education and includes all NSBN-mandated learning elements. The class is 40 total hours (10 hours/day x 4 days) and includes 30 hours of didactic education and 10 hours of simulation, as required by the LPN Practice Act for Nevada. The instructor has worked on several IV/Vascular Access Teams in both hospital and home care settings. Students must bring a calculator to class and pass a written exam with at least a 90%.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
