Class Detail

New Grad

This course is intended for the New Graduate RN. Included will be the following topics: scope of practice review, critical thinking, communication, Pre and Post-op Care, review of tubes, skin and wound care, regulatory requirements, assessment skills, what do lab results mean?, review of respiratory needs, time management and planning your day, IV practice, central line review, diabetes, CHF care, documentation, nutrition and diet therapy patient teaching.

Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
