Assaultive Behavior Management-For High Risk Areas
This program teaches the healthcare professional techniques to use when dealing with the potentially assaultive client. Participants need to wear comfortable clothes and be able to perform various physical techniques. Techniques will include verbal de-escalation skills as well as hand-on techniques. This course will also review advanced techniques for that will be valuable for staff who work in risk areas such as patient seating rooms, ER waiting rooms etc.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
