Violence Prevention & De-Escalation CNA Credit
This Violence Prevention and De-Escalation in the Healthcare Setting course meets CA AB508 requirements and SB 1299
This program teaches the healthcare professional techniques to use when dealing with the potentially abusive client. Techniques will include verbal de-escalation skills as well as humane, non-injurious, personal safety and patient restraint will be discussed. This meets the requirements for AB508 training. Participants need to wear comfortable clothes and be able to perform various physical techniques.
This class will give CNA Credit
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
Please note processing of certificates may take up to two weeks.
