Care of the Patient with a Labor Epidural
This course will review the skills necessary to prepare a patient to receive a labor epidural, assist the anesthesiologist during the procedure, and review the medications involved with the procedure. Will review the teaching needed to instruct the parient on the use of a patient controlled anesthesia pump. Complications and treatment will be reviewed.
Please Note: Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will NOT be allowed to attend the course.
Professional attire/scrubs are expected to be worn when attending any Flex Ed course.
